Terms of Service

Effective date: 26 February 2026

1. Agreement to terms

By signing up for or using TradeBooked, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and [Company Name] (“TradeBooked”, “we”, “us”).

2. The service

TradeBooked provides online booking software for UK tradespeople. We provide a booking page, dashboard, and associated tools. We are not a party to any booking made between a tradesperson and their customer — we are solely a technology platform.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

  • You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are shown on the pricing page.
  • Your 10-day free trial begins on account creation. No payment is taken until the trial ends.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no refund is issued for unused time on monthly plans.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use TradeBooked to:

  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Provide false or misleading information to customers
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Attempt to access or interfere with other users’ accounts or data
  • Circumvent or disable any security features
  • Harvest data from the platform by automated means

5. Branded kit (coming soon)

The branded kit feature allows tradespeople to order personalised branded items for their own use. This feature is currently in development. Full terms relating to orders and fulfilment will be published here when the feature launches.

6. Tradesperson responsibilities

As a tradesperson using TradeBooked, you are solely responsible for:

  • The quality and safety of work you carry out
  • Holding any required certifications, licences, or insurance
  • Honouring bookings made through your page
  • Resolving disputes with your customers directly
  • Complying with all applicable laws including consumer protection, GDPR, and tax obligations

7. Our responsibilities and limitations

We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for:

  • Lost bookings due to technical issues beyond our control
  • Actions or omissions of tradespeople or their customers
  • Third-party service failures (SMS, email, payment processing, merch fulfilment)
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

8. Intellectual property

TradeBooked and its design, software, and content are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of your business data (bookings, customer records, services). You grant us a licence to use your data to operate and improve the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay. You may close your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting us. On termination, we will provide a data export on request within 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice for material changes. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. We will notify you by email.
